Connecting Rentals of Bethel accepts payments made by credit card or PayPal for reservations booked through our platform. The following payment methods are also accepted for bookings made through our office: personal check, bank check, money order, or Venmo. We accept cash payments as long as payment is received 30 days prior to the arrival date.
A credit card is required for all reservations, which will be held on file as security for the rental. The card will be verified at booking and on check-in day, and charged only for damage, excess cleaning, missing items, or fees in the event any of these items occur during your stay.
Payment is due upon booking a reservation.
If a personal check is returned by the bank for any reason there will be a $50 service charge.

On the subject line please write in the name of the property you have reserved.
Each reservation is subject to 9% Maine Lodging Tax, cleaning fee, and damage deposit.
Outside of 30 days of arrival, your funds are refunded in full minus a $200 cancellation fee.
NO REFUND within 30 days of arrival unless the property is re-booked by Connecting Rentals of Bethel for the entire length of the original booking.
Vacation Rental Insurance is recommended and can protect you in the event you need to cancel or cannot commit to your reservation within the 30 day period.
Check-In time is 4:00 p.m.
Early check-in is not permitted unless agreed upon in writing prior to your arrival.
Check-Out time is 11:00 a.m.
Late check-out is not permitted unless agreed upon in writing prior to your arrival.
Please do not forget to:
- Close and lock all windows.
- Lock all doors.
- Leave no burning embers in the fireplace if the property has a fireplace.
- Make sure the hot tub cover is securely on if the property has a hot tub.
- Turn the heat down to 55 degrees.
- Turn all electronics and lights off.
The person responsible for booking the reservation must be 25 years of age or older and present during the entirety of the reservation.
All properties are limited to the maximum occupancy as stated in your Reservation Confirmation. The Guest(s) need to obtain written consent from Connecting Rentals of Bethel if the total number of Guests, day or night, will exceed the maximum occupancy for the property.
One key for the property will be provided. If additional keys are required, Connecting Rentals of Bethel must receive notification in advance prior to the arrival date.
Due to property Owner preference or allergy concerns, pets are not allowed in properties without prior written consent from Connecting Rentals of Bethel, evidence of pets at the property will result in immediate eviction and forfeiture of all amounts paid and will result in additional cleaning fees.
Guest acknowledges that the rental property may not be sublet. Subleasing shall immediately void the Reservation Confirmation and require immediate departure with no refund.
Each property will have a start-up supply of consumables provided (paper towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, hand soap, dish washing detergent, laundry detergent). If supplies run out, Guest(s) are required to provide their own supplies to meet their needs during their stay at their expense. This also includes propane exchanges for properties with grills.
Linen service is included in the rental rate. All beds will be made with fresh sheets. Each Guest will be provided with 2 bath towels, 1 hand towel and 1 wash cloth along with pillows and blankets.
For other Guests and neighbors enjoyment, please be cautious of noise levels at all times. Any enforcement actions by the Town, County or Home/Condo Association are at the sole risk and expense of the registered Guest and may result in immediate eviction without refund.
Connecting Rentals of Bethel is not responsible for reimbursements or relocation to another property due to construction that may occur on around the rental property.
Smoking inside properties is not permitted. Evidence of smoking inside a property will result in immediate eviction without refund, and will result in additional cleaning fees.
Parking is limited at certain properties. Excess vehicles on property are subject to removal at Guest(s) expense.
Certain properties, for example ski-in / ski-out properties, may require Guest(s) to have a parking pass. A pass or passes will be provided for vehicles if necessary.
Guest(s) are required to leave the property in the same general condition as prior to arrival. Housekeeping appreciates if linens are together and the dishwasher and washing machines have been started.
Guest(s) will be responsible for disposing of their rubbish during their stay. Some properties offer dumpsters on-site for Guest(s) use. If no dumpster is on-site or nearby, the Guest(s) will need to bring rubbish to the nearest transfer station. Up to 3 bags may be left at the property upon departure.
Any damages, outside of what is deemed normal wear and tear, are the responsibility of the Guest(s). A credit card is required upon booking a reservation and will be held against damage or excessive cleaning, and may be used immediately for any and all damages, fines, excessive cleaning or missing items.
Cause for Eviction
The registered Guest and all parties of the registered Guest will be subject to immediate eviction from the property if the registered Guest or parties of the registered Guest violate any terms of this agreement, including but not limited to, violation of occupancy limits, pet provision, smoking, noise disturbances or parking. In the event of eviction from the property, the registered Guest shall forfeit all amounts paid without refund.
